Senior Full-Stack Engineer (m/w/d)

Your mission
As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will be a key contributor to our software systems that power our AI biomarker applications. You will work across the technology stack to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant systems that bridge state-of-the-art scientific research with real-world healthcare applications. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative startup environment and is eager to leave meaningful impact through software applications.

  • Full-Stack Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable web applications and microservices using modern frameworks such as ReactJS, Flask, or Node.js.
  • API Development: Build secure and robust APIs for internal tools and third-party integrations.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup, automated testing, and deployments using tools such as GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and adhere to secure development practices in line with HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001 requirements.
  • Documentation & Traceability: Contribute to compliant software lifecycle processes (SSDLC, IEC 62304, ISO 13485) by documenting code, test cases, and development workflows.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with our product, science and QA teams to deliver features and iterate quickly on user feedback.
Your profile
Required Experience
  • 5+ years in software development, ideally in full-stack roles.
  • Fluency in Python, Javascript & ReactJS.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining cloud applications on AWS.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform
  • Experience with Docker, Docker-Compose and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and privacy regulations (SSDLC, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing workflows.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum)

Qualification & Skills
  • Bachelor's in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Strong grasp of system design principles and debugging tools.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Passion for clean, maintainable code and scalable architecture.
  • Willingness to operate in a regulated software development environment.
  • Habit of staying current with emerging AI/dev tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Good to have 
  • Exposure to regulated healthcare or medical device software (ISO13485).
  • Experience with bioinformatics, digital pathology, or clinical data.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integrations or tools.
